Bayern Munich ends the 2025-26 campaign on a high after winning the DFB Pokal, beating VfB Stuttgart 3-0 in Berlin.

After winning the Bundesliga title already, Vincent Kompany’s men wanted to add another trophy to their name, and they did it in some style.

Harry Kane scored a hat-trick to round off an unforgettable season where he scored 61 goals from 50 games across all competitions.

Bayern Munich vs Stuttgart: Match report

After a cagey opening 15 minutes, Maximilian Mittelstadt produced a low left footed shot from outside the box, and it is comfortably saved in the bottom right corner by Jonas Urbig.

While Bayern struggled to control the game, Stuttgart produced another dangerous attack from the left, with Chris Führich cutting inside but only managing to hit straight at the keeper.

It took Bayern nearly 30 minutes to get their first shot on target, with Luis Diaz cutting inside and hitting straight at the keeper with a tame effort.

The German champions have been restricted to shooting from distance, and Josip Stanisic had a crack on goal from 20 yards out but Alexander Nubel was equal to the task.

In the second half, Bayern took the lead through Harry Kane.

Michael Olise from the right hand side whipped in a fabulous cross with his right foot, and all Kane needed to do was to head in from two yards out.

Chema Andres came close to equalising for Stuttgart, after his towering header just went wide off target.

Harry Kane scored again to put Bayern in a commanding 2-0 lead. The goal machine first tried to curl in from distance, only it hit the woodwork.

The ball then came to Luis Diaz, who rolled into the path of Kane. The England skipper took it superbly and placed it past Nubel to score his 60th goal of the campaign.

In the 90th minute, Bayern earned a penalty after a penalty conceded by Angelo Stiller. Harry Kane stepped up and made no mistake to make it 3-0.

With this win, Bayern have completed domestic double for the first time in six years.
