Bayern Munich could make move for key Barcelona defender | OneFootball

FC Barcelona have been looking to complete some sales for the last several weeks, but have found progress on this front rather slow. As things stand, they have only completed the sale of Ansu Fati to AS Monaco, as the Monegasque club exercised their purchase option on the player, and the sale of Inaki Pena to Panathinaikos.

Several other players, such as Marc Casado, Marc-Andre ter Stegen, Ferran Torres, and Alejandro Balde, have also been linked with moves away from the club, but so far, there have been no movements with any of them.

The defender Jules Kounde is another player who is linked with a move away from the Catalan club. Although he recently expressed his willingness to continue at the Blaugrana side, things can change for him in the coming few days.

This is particularly because he is enjoying interest from one of the biggest clubs in Europe, Bayern Munich. In this regard, Mundo Deportivo cites the German outlet Bild to claim that the Bavarians can make a move for the Frenchman soon, but before being able to do so, they will have to sell several of their current players.

As things stand, the Bundesliga side is looking to offload a number of players, including Sacha Boey, Hiroki Ito, Kim Min-Jae, and Joao Palhinha. On the other hand, they have already completed the signings of Ismael Saibari and Nathaniel Brown.

As far as their flanks are concerned, they already have Josip Stanisic and Konrad Laimer as players who can play as right-backs. However, they still remain interested in the Frenchman and are seemingly ready to make a move for him.

Meanwhile, it remains to be seen whether Bayern Munich will make an offer for the defender, and how this offer would be received at the Barcelona offices, especially as Jules Kounde has remained a key player for Hansi Flick since his arrival on the Blaugrana bench.
