Bayern Munich are showing a late interest in PSG centre-forward Randal Kolo Muani (26) in the final hours of the summer transfer window, as per L’Equipe. The 26-year-old striker was long touted with a return to Juventus following a successful loan move for the Frenchman in Italy. But after months of speculation and back-and-forth between PSG and Juventus, both clubs failed to reach an agreement that suited all parties.
Juventus acted swiftly and signed Loïs Openda from RB Leipzig, but Kolo Muani’s future remained in limbo, considering he is far from making his way back into Luis Enrique’s plans at PSG. Premier League clubs are also reportedly interested in his services, but L’Equipe understands that Bayern Munich have made concrete steps in signing Kolo Muani by making contact with his entourage.
Kolo Muani would be Die Rekordmeister’s solution in case they fail to sign Nicolas Jackson from Chelsea. Kolo Muani would make his return in the Bundesliga after his breakthrough 2022-2023 season with Eintracht Frankfurt.
