Dusan Vlahovic is unlikely to stay at Juventus despite a solid start to the season, as his contract is too expensive. Bayern Munich have joined the pack of teams monitoring him ahead of his Bosman departure, Bild reports (via Radio Sportiva).
The Bavarians’ interest is contingent upon the future of Harry Kane, who’s still going strong but is 32. They might decide to bring him his heir early, especially in a cost-effective operation, although the salary of the Serb will be large. In addition, a €65/70M release clause present in the contract of the Englishman will come into effect starting from next summer. A few sides have begun gathering information about his intentions.
Bayern Munich already liked Vlahovic when he was at Fiorentina back in the day. However, they deemed him too expensive. Instead, Juventus accepted the €80M price tag set by the Viola.
The center-forward has been recently linked with a January exit, a solution that would allow the Old Lady to monetize his exit a little. However, director Giorgio Chiellini dismissed such a possibility before the Atalanta game, stating the striker would stay until June 2026.
His requests will be a little more manageable once the hefty bonuses of his current deal are taken care of. Still, he will be far from cheap and will command €8/10M per year if his season goes decently, and a few sides will vie for his services, which might take the Italian outfits out of the running. Milan will poke around given the connection with Massimiliano Allegri, but those numbers are prohibitive for a club that’s very careful with its payroll.
