Recently, Liverpool are reportedly planning a move for Barcola, even after securing a deal for 22-year-old German attacker Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen, according to The Sun.

On Thursday, Foot Mercato’s Josué Cassé reported that Barcola isn’t leaving PSG, as he remains a key part of the club’s project and has no intention of moving on.

This week, Sky Sport Germany’s Florian Plettenberg reported that Barcola is FC Bayern Munich’s top target as they look to sign a high-profile left winger. While a deal won’t be easy to pull off, Bayern are actively exploring the possibility of signing the 22-year-old Frenchman.

If Barcola ends up being out of reach, Athletic Club’s Nico Williams is seen as the leading alternative. Max Eberl is also keeping other options on the table, including Kaoru Mitoma, Rafael Leão, and Cody Gakpo.

Nonetheless, it doesn’t seem like PSG are willing to give Barcola away and hamper the depth they’ve built over the last few transfer windows.
