Whilst Michael Olise (24) is attracting plenty of interest following his exceptional season, he won’t be leaving Bayern Munich this summer, as members of the German club’s hierarchy have confided to L’Équipe.
At club level, Olise had an exceptional campaign, registering 22 goals and 31 assists in 52 games in all competitions. Including games with Les Bleus, he is now on 60 goal contributions after he netted a hat-trick in France’s 3-0 win in Lille on Monday night.
There are reports linking the former Crystal Palace forward to Real Madrid, whilst Paris Saint-Germain have also shown interest in the player, as per L’Équipe. However, prising Olise away from the Allianz Arena looks to be mission impossible. “Even for €200m, he won’t leave,” an executive of the Bundesliga giants told L’Équipe. PSG are in a position to align on that price, although the days of splurging such a fee on one player are seemingly over.
A member of Bayern Munich’s administrative council went one step further: “There is no price for Olise. Even for €500m, he won’t leave.” The France international may be attracting interest but he isn’t going anywhere this summer.
