In recent days, FC Bayern Munich has reached a basic agreement with Eintracht Frankfurt regarding the transfer of Nathaniel Brown. Now there are new details regarding the national team player’s medical exam.

That is the final hurdle that must be cleared before the transfer can be confirmed. FC Bayern has already made all the necessary arrangements to have the check conducted in the U.S.

And that is exactly what is set to happen shortly. As revealed in the transfer update on Sky, the medical exam is scheduled to take place after the German national team’s match against Paraguay, which is set for Monday evening.

Brown’s medical exam in the coming days

Specifically, Tuesday or Wednesday were mentioned. The fact that the exam can be conducted right near the DFB’s headquarters naturally ensures that the German team’s normal routine remains unaffected.

So if the DFB team advances past Paraguay, Brown’s medical exam will not affect their preparations for the Round of 16.

All in all, there isn’t much standing in the way of the transfer now. Bayern will pay 50 million euros for the left-footed player, with an additional five million euros potentially added in bonus payments. The high fixed fee—a large portion of which must be paid as early as this summer—was ultimately the sticking point.

Once Bayern moved closer to Eintracht’s demands, an agreement was reached. Brown is set to sign a contract running through the summer of 2031. His salary will increase significantly compared to what he earned at Eintracht.

Even though there were recently several inquiries from clubs in England, it was always clear to Brown that he only wanted to move to Munich. That’s why inquiries from Chelsea and Arsenal had absolutely no effect.

The fast, explosive Brown would open up new possibilities for FC Bayern. He has already shown in Frankfurt that he can perform at the highest level. He’s also playing at a very high level at the World Cup. After he passes his medical exam, it may still take a while before the record champions announce the deal. However, the transfer is no longer in jeopardy.
