Jan Bednarek has been named I Liga Defender of the Month for December, the FC Porto centre-back’s third award this season.
According to O Jogo, he received 25.89 per cent of the head coaches’ vote.

He finished ahead of team-mate and compatriot Jakub Kiwior on 16.96 per cent and Sporting’s Ousmane Diomande on 7.14 per cent.
In December he started three of Porto’s four league games, contributing to wins over Tondela 2-0, Estrela da Amadora 3-1 and Aves SAD 2-0.
The Poland international had also collected the September/October and November honours.
