Begraoui and Mendez inspire Estoril comeback to climb the table | OneFootball

Estoril beat Vitória S.C. 4-2 on Saturday at Estádio António Coimbra da Mota to climb from ninth to eighth in Liga Portugal, powered by braces from Yanis Begraoui and Alejandro Mendez.

Samu opened the scoring in the 27th minute, before Begraoui levelled (29.) and Matija Mitrović's free kick restored the visitors' lead (34.).

Joel Robles then tipped over Samu's close range effort after a João Mendes cross (49.) as the visitors pushed to extend their advantage.

Mendez and Estoril hit back decisively after the restart, the forward nodding in Rafik Guitane's delivery to equalise (56.) before steering in Jordan William Holsgrove's set piece cross for the lead (65.).

Half time substitute Pizzi slipped Begraoui through to find the bottom corner from outside the box and seal it (78.).

Estoril tallied 16 attempts, with six on target. Vitória S.C. registered 13 attempts, four on target. Begraoui is now on 13 Liga Portugal goals, third in the division's scoring chart.

Next, Estoril visit Santa Clara. Vitória S.C. host Moreirense.
