Benfica finished 14th on the 2024/25 Champions League revenue list, banking 71.434 million euros despite a last-16 exit.
Glorioso 1904 reports that they ended the league phase in 16th, beat Monaco in the play-off, then fell in the last 16 to Barcelona.
The figures reflect UEFA's official distributions for participation, results, final placing and coefficient.
In 2025/26, Benfica have already secured about 53 million euros from entry, coefficients and reaching the play-off against Real Madrid. That sum could rise by 11 million with a possible last-16 qualification.
Paris Saint-Germain led the 2024/25 earnings with 144.415 million euros as champions, followed by Inter on 136.625 million and Arsenal on 116.998 million.
The hierarchy underlines the advantage of progressing to the closing stages, with wide gaps to clubs stopped in the last 16, as was the case for Benfica.
