Benfica have confirmed the departure of Ricardo Ribeiro, the 23-year-old goalkeeper, ending his 10-year association with the club.
Ribeiro posted a brief farewell on social media, thanking the club as he moves on.

In 2025/26 he made seven appearances for Benfica B.
Across his time at the club he also featured for the under-23s and progressed through most youth levels after arriving in Seixal at a young age.
He has three youth caps for Portugal and had been regarded as a Benfica-trained goalkeeper with room to grow before his departure.
Ribeiro now prepares to begin the next chapter of his career, leaving in search of new challenges.
