Benfica have set out the precise terms of last summer’s biggest departures in their latest report and accounts. The sales of Álvaro Carreras to Real Madrid and Orkun Kökçü to Besiktas were the most lucrative, though profits were well below the headline fees.
The club said in a statement that the Carreras deal was set at 50 million euros. The gain was 36.627 million after deductions for the solidarity mechanism, commitments to third parties and the player’s net book value, with payment schedules taken into account.
Kökçü’s rights were sold to Besiktas for 30 million euros, producing a gain of 10.678 million. The figure reflects deductions for solidarity and the athlete’s net book value.
Florentino joined Burnley for 26 million euros, generating a gain of 22.320 million. Deductions of 3.680 million covered solidarity and intermediary services, updated in line with the stipulated payment plan.
Benfica also published the SAD’s results for the first half of 2025/26 via its official channels. The document was presented to the CMVM.
