Benfica are exploring a move for Brazilian pivot Fabinho, with Rui Costa already aware of Palma Futsal’s asking price as the futsal side reshape.

According to Glorioso 1904, the Palma Futsal pivot is on Benfica’s shortlist as the team prepare for next season. The report also notes that Benfica are said to have beaten Barcelona to Cléber Souza, and that Rui Costa knows the fee is about 400,000 euros.

The Lisbon club are addressing departures, with Higor de Souza set to reinforce Barcelona, and Jacaré rumoured to return to Brazil with Joinville.

Palma Futsal are said to be monitoring Fabinho’s situation and the reported Benfica interest. The proposed price could be difficult for Benfica to meet.

The valuation reflects Fabinho renewing his contract in 2025, extending his deal with Palma until the summer of 2030. If an agreement is reached, he would become Benfica’s second incoming.
