Benfica have issued an update on Nycole Raysla, confirming a left shoulder acromioclavicular joint sprain suffered in the last match against Valadares Gaia.
The club said in a statement that the Brazil international is with the medical department, focusing on rehabilitation. It added she suffered the injury during the game.
No timeframe for her return was provided, and she will miss tomorrow's game against Braga.
It is her second lay-off of the season. In October she spent a few days in hospital after a severe head collision, remaining out for several weeks.
Under head coach Ivan Baptista, she has made 19 appearances this season, spanning eight Liga BPI games, five in the Women's Champions League, three in the Taça de Portugal, two in the Taça da Liga and one in the Supertaça.
Across 1,063 minutes, she has scored seven goals and supplied four assists.
