Benfica have placed Vitória de Guimarães winger Noah Saviolo on their radar for next season.

According to A Bola, the Belgian under-21 international matches the profile sought to strengthen the left flank, and Benfica are tracking his progress after a standout campaign.

The push to reinforce the left wing comes at José Mourinho’s request, with a focus on pace, intensity and stronger defensive work. The coach is said to see similarities with Dodi Lukebakio, particularly Saviolo’s explosiveness and one v one threat.

Vitória rejected a five million euro bid from Ligue 1 in January, but are now prepared to negotiate between seven and 7.5 million euros.

This season Saviolo has made 35 appearances for Vitória, 29 in Liga Portugal, three in the Taça de Portugal and three in the Taça da Liga. Across 2,286 minutes he has scored two goals and supplied five assists, and he is valued at two million euros.
