Benfica 'monitoring' Othmane Maamma, the Watford winger, but any move remains far from certain amid interest from Everton and Crystal Palace.
L'Équipe reports that several European clubs are tracking the 20-year-old, who made 24 appearances last season with four goals and one assist.
A Montpellier academy graduate, Maamma joined the Championship side last summer and has continued to build his profile.
To prise him from England, Benfica would need significant funds. He is valued at eight million euros and the fee could rise if Benfica make an opening offer, given strong British competition.
Born in France but a Moroccan youth international, Maamma won the Under-20 World Cup in 2025 after Morocco beat Argentina 2-0 in the final, and he was named player of the tournament.
