Benfica beat Estoril 3-1 at the Estádio António Coimbra da Mota to complete an unbeaten Liga Portugal campaign.
Richard Ríos opened the scoring in the seventh minute, turning in from close range after a corner sequence. Alexander Bah doubled the lead from inside the six-yard area (15.), and moments later Rafa Silva swept in a third after Gianluca Prestianni's assist (16.).
After the restart, Estoril rallied and forced Anotolii Trubin into several stops, with the goalkeeper finishing with five saves. The Águias remained compact and threatened from set pieces, Tomás Araújo heading over from another delivery (84.).
Ian Cathro's changes lifted the hosts, with Kevin Boma adding bite at the back and substitute Peixinho firing a fine consolation in the first minute of second half stoppage time, teed up by Boma.
The Encarnados registered 19 attempts, eight on target, underlining their first half control. Estoril produced 16 attempts and six on target as they pushed late.
The Encarnados finish the campaign in third place without a defeat. Estoril end the season 10th.
