Record writes that Benfica are expected to review a raft of first team options as the season winds down, with Georgiy Sudakov at the head of those who could be reassessed.
The Ukraine international arrived on loan in the summer window with an option to buy worth up to €27m. After close to a full campaign, he has yet to cement himself, which could lead to a departure. He has 36 games, four goals and five assists.
Franjo Ivanovic, a €22.5m signing, has not fully convinced despite a brighter spell in recent weeks. For much of the campaign the Croatian forward was peripheral, only offering encouragement after the Clássico against Porto.
Dodi Lukebakio, bought for €20m at the end of the window, quickly earned a starting role but has not justified the outlay. Gianluca Prestianni’s rise has pushed the No 11 to the bench, and he has not reclaimed his place since injury.
Enzo Barrenechea initially arrived on loan from Aston Villa, with Benfica later paying a further €12m to make the move permanent. As the season progressed, the midfielder went from undroppable to a rarely used substitute, leaving the door open to an exit.
