Bertrand Traoré is weighing up his next move after leaving Sunderland earlier this summer. According to Sunderland Echo, FC Porto have enquired about the 30-year-old, with Al Shabab and Nice also making contact, and Premier League clubs monitoring the situation.
Traoré became a key part of Régis Le Bris's starting XI in the first half of last season following his deadline day switch from Ajax. His progress was checked by an injury sustained at the Africa Cup of Nations.
He returned for one substitute outing against Leeds United at Elland Road, but suffered a recurrence in that cameo and did not feature again.
After talks, Sunderland chose not to activate their option to extend his contract for another season.
Porto won the Primeira Liga last season and will play in the Champions League this year. Traoré has previously worked with head coach Francesco Farioli at Ajax.
Sunderland are now pursuing a new right winger, with AS Roma Matías Soulé among their potential targets.
