Besiktas ‘to consider’ offer for Vasco left-back Lucas Piton, valued at seven million euros | OneFootball

Transfermarkt Türkiye reports that Besiktas are considering formalising an offer for Vasco left-back Lucas Piton, whose estimated value is around seven million euros, about R$ 45 million.

Vasco also expect further enquiries for the defender, who is regarded internally as one of the squad’s leading figures.

Despite two injuries this season, Piton started most matches and contributed directly to goals. He played 55 games, scored one and delivered 11 assists.

He is a key part of Fernando Diniz’s set-up, with much of the build-up channelled down the left. Combinations with Nuno Moreira and Philippe Coutinho have been frequent.

Puma Rodríguez has covered the role when required, albeit out of position. If a sale is agreed, Vasco would enter the market for a left-back replacement.

For now, focus is on the Copa do Brasil final. The squad are in São Paulo for the first leg against Corinthians, and Diniz is likely to retain the line-up used in the semi-final against Fluminense. The opener is on Wednesday 17 at 21:30 Brasília time at Neo Química Arena, with tickets sold out for both legs.
