Beşiktaş submit offer for Monaco’s Thilo Kehrer | OneFootball

Beşiktaş have submitted an €8m offer for AS Monaco vice-captain Thilo Kehrer (29), according to a report from Foot Mercato. 

Kehrer didn’t begin the season as a starter for Monaco, but as a result of the club’s ongoing injury crisis, which has affected the likes of Mohammed Salisu, Eric Dier, and Christian Mawissa, he has rediscovered his place in the starting XI.

The Germany international is now the subject of a bid from Turkish side Beşiktaş. Foot Mercato understands that bid to be worth around €8m, including bonuses. The publication adds that Monaco are considering the offer, as they are looking to sell in order to strengthen. 

However, Marc Mechenoua says that it would take a mammoth offer for Monaco to sell Kehrer this month. The Principality club are already looking to strengthen their defence, given that Salisu is out until the end of the season, and so they are not looking to lose one of their current starters.
