In the 7th minute, Juventus Women tried their luck again. This time it was Cambiaghi who tried to break away towards goal, but was stopped by the experienced Andres.

Inter made their first foray in Juventus' box in the 13th minute with a shot from Glionna that went wide of the mark, past the post.

The best chance came in the 28th minute for the Bianconere, a cross from Pinto turned into a dangerous shot that forced Runarsdottir to concede a corner. In the 37th minute Carbeonell hit the crossbar from a cross come shot.

Just when the first half seemed destined to end goalless, our girls found the deserved opening goal. Brighton's free kick was met by a powerful header from former player Michela Cambiaghi, who sent the ball into the net making it 0-1. That was how the first half ended.

The second half began with another chance for Juventus In the 47th minute, Runarsdottir punched away a dangerous cross from Cambiaghi. The Nerazzurre tried to push forward a few minutes later, in the 52nd minute, with Csiszar attempting a left-footed shot from outside the box, but it failed to find the target.

The second half officially took off shortly after the hour mark, in the 64th minute, when Juventus doubled their lead with a textbook move where Girelli and Schatzer combined perfectly. Girell backheeled the ball to Schatzer, who, from the edge of the box, scored with a precise left-footed shot into the top corner, making it 2-0. A minute later, Bonansea tried to catch Runarsdottir out with another shot from distance, but the ball went wide.

Inter reduced the deficit in the 67th minute, Schough beat Kullberg in the box and passed to Wullaert who made no mistake from a few yards out, 2-1. The Nerazzurri increased the pressure and in the 71st minute created a dangerous opportunity in the Bianconeri box, but the Juventus defence managed to clear the danger.

In the 75th minute, it was Schough's turn to try to scare the Bianconeri defence, cutting in from the left, but her shot ended up wide. Also in the 75th minute, there was some wonderful and very important news for Juventus Women. Cascarino returned to the field after a long injury.

With five minutes to go, Inter came close to equalising again, but our girls were saved by a brilliant intervention from Lenzini, who blocked Detruyer's shot from a yard out. It was a real goal-line clearance that was worth as much as a goal keeping the score at 2-1.

A minute later, the game went up a notch again. De Jong took centre stage with an exceptional save, tipping a dangerous cross from Wullaert over the bar.

The Dutch goalkeeper was the undisputed star of the show in the final moments, making two more saves of the highest difficulty against Csiszar and Merlo respectively.
