Birmingham City sign Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Bance on loan | OneFootball

Birmingham City have completed the signing of Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Libby Bance on a season-long loan deal.

WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from Blues this afternoon.

The 22-year-old is a product of the well-respected Brighton & Hove Albion academy system and she has gone on to feature for the first team on almost 50 occasions. Minutes have been in short supply in recent times and the youngster has gone out on loan to get regular football. Bance has turned out for Rangers and Bristol City in the last couple of years.

The midfielder cannot be guaranteed regular game time at Brighton & Hove Albion this season therefore Bance will spend the campaign on loan at Birmingham City.

After joining Blues, Bance said “I’m really excited to be here, I can’t wait to get started on Sunday. I know quite a few of the girls here and I’ve played under the managers before, I learnt a lot being coached by them when I was younger and I’m excited to play under them again.

“I understand the ambition of the Club, wanting to go for promotion, and I want to be a part of that.”
