Boca have a late concern over Miguel Ángel Merentiel ahead of their Copa Libertadores 2026 home opener against Barcelona. According to LaNumer12.com.ar, the forward will be assessed in the final training session to determine if he can start.

The Uruguayan has been nursing a pubis issue since the match with Talleres in Córdoba, where he was substituted. Although he featured in the second half against Independiente, the discomfort persists.
