Borussia Dortmund prepare to submit offer to Brighton for Facundo Buonanotte | OneFootball

Sky Germany reports that Borussia Dortmund are preparing to submit an offer to Brighton and Hove Albion for Argentine playmaker Facundo Buonanotte. The 20-year old has made 71 Premier League appearances, scoring nine goals and providing four assists, just two and a half years after making his debut for Brighton in February 2023.

Buonanotte shone under the guidance of Roberto De Zerbi during his first 18 months in England as the Seagulls made their European debut. After a successful loan spell at Leicester City last season and strong involvement in Fabian Hürzeler’s pre-season plans, it remains to be seen whether Brighton would sanction a transfer. The Rosario native is, however, reportedly open to making a move to the Ruhrgebiet.

Dortmund want to strengthen their attacking options following Jamie Bynoe-Gittens’ move to Chelsea and Gio Reyna’s impending transfer to Serie A outfit Parma. While Die Schwarzgelben had long targeted former loanee Carney Chukwuemeka, negotiations with the West London side appear to have stalled for now.
