According to L’Équipe (via FT), Borussia Dortmund have expressed an interest in signing Paris Saint-Germain forward Randal Kolo Muani.
It had previously been reported that Manchester United and RB Leipzig were lining up a winter deal for the former Eintracht Frankfurt striker.
However, thus far, neither side have progressed in landing the Frenchman’s signature, with Die Roten Bullen instead securing a deal for AC Milan’s Noah Okafor.
This has left the door open for BvB, who are looking to secure a loan deal for Kolo Muani with Donyell Malen set to sign for Aston Villa in the coming days.
Since making the €95 million move to the French capital, the 26-year-old has struggled for form in front of goal, registering just eleven goals and seven assists in 54 appearances.
Nevertheless, a return to the Bundesliga could see the striker flourish.
During his spell with Die Adler, Kolo Muani scored 26 goals and recorded 17 assists in 50 games, a considerably better ratio than he is currently managing.
As well as this, the French international could take Malen’s place in the Dortmund side and become a regular starter for BvB, something he is not with the Parisians.
