It will be Nacional Potosí, who became champions of the Copa Bolivia by thrashing Bolívar 4-1 in La Paz, after losing the first leg 2-0.

Thus, the Glorioso will begin their journey towards a second Libertadores title at an altitude of 4,090 meters, on February 17. The return leg will be on February 24, at the Nilton Santos Stadium.

The winner of this phase 2 clash will face either Barcelona de Guayaquil, from Ecuador, or Argentinos Juniors in phase 3—the last stage before the tournament's group phase.

On the other side of the bracket, Bahia already knew their first opponent—the Chileans from O'Higgins.
