Bournemouth came from behind to stun Arsenal 2-1 at the Emirates Stadium to keep their European hopes alive.

The first half saw the hosts dominate possession, but it was a well-timed strike from Declan Rice that gave the home side the lead.

Rice marked his 100th appearance for Arsenal with a neat finish after being found by Martin Odegaard's reverse pass, rounding Kepa and slotting home with 34 minutes on the clock.

The visitors had their moments, with Justin Kluivert testing David Raya and Evanilson threatening with a header just over the bar.

Mikel Arteta's side should have extended their lead early in the second half. Gabriel Martinelli’s cross from the left found Leandro Trossard, whose header was somehow kept out by Kepa on the line.

Andoni Iraola's side managed to level the scores through Dean Huijsen, who rose highest to glance a header past Raya following a long throw-in from Antoine Semenyo.

Bournemouth, growing in confidence after the equaliser, continued to put pressure on the Gunners.

The Cherries completed their comeback 15 minutes from time when a left-wing corner was flicked on to Evanilson at the back post, who bundled it over the line.

Despite a lengthy VAR review for offside and handball, the goal was eventually given.

A frustrated Arsenal side struggled to respond to Bournemouth’s comeback, and their inability to react when falling behind allowed the visitors to see out the game with ease.

The result leaves Arsenal still holding second place, but only three points ahead of third-placed Manchester City with just three games remaining. Meanwhile, Bournemouth's win secures them another historic achievement, completing a first-ever league double over the Gunners.
