Bournemouth have offered Alex Scott a new contract as the club look to ward off transfer interest from Premier League rivals.

Scott’s performances saw him named Supporters’ Player of the Year at Bournemouth in 2025/26, after missing just one Premier League fixture.

The 22-year-old was called up to the senior England squad for the first time in November after impressing Thomas Tuchel. While he was not included in the final World Cup squad, Scott will join the senior team for the squad’s preparation camp before the tournament.

Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea are all admirers of the midfielder, but Bournemouth are doing their best to convince Scott to stay.

Fabrizio Romano is reporting that incoming manager Marco Rose sees Scott as a crucial player and the Cherries have tabled a contract offer.

Bournemouth endured a 2025/26 season of upheaval despite the success of a top-six finish on the pitch. Dean Huijsen, Ilya Zabarnyi, Milos Kerkez and Dango Ouattara were all sold last summer, before Antoine Semenyo departed in January.

With head coach Andoni Iraola moving on and Marcos Senesi leaving, the Cherries are keen to avoid further outgoings as the club prepare for a first-ever season in Europe.
