The title race could be decided at the Vitality on Tuesday night
Manchester City visit Bournemouth on Tuesday in their penultimate match of the Premier League season, with the title still very much within reach.
Pep Guardiola’s side clinched a domestic double on Saturday as they beat Chelsea 1-0 in the FA Cup final, but, after muted celebrations, will turn their attention back to the league.
They trail Arsenal by two points, with both teams still having two matches left to play. The Gunners go first, facing Burnley on Monday night, before City head to the south coast for what could prove to be a decisive match in the title race.
It will be an emotional occasion for City’s Antoine Semenyo, who scored the winner at Wembley just a few months after leaving Bournemouth. This match will herald his first return to the Vitality since that transfer.
Bournemouth, meanwhile, remain in the hunt for a European place. They come into the match sitting sixth, and could put some breathing space between themselves and south coast rivals Brighton with an unlikely win here.
Such a result in this, Andoni Iraola’s last home match as the club’s manager, would also likely hand Arsenal a first Premier League title since 2004.
Bournemouth vs Man City is scheduled for a 7.30pm BST kick-off on Tuesday, May 19, 2026.
The match will take place at the Vitality Stadium.
TV channel: In the UK, the game will be televised live on Sky Sports Main Event, with coverage starting at 7pm BST ahead of the 7.30pm kick-off.
Coverage of this match will dovetail with that of Chelsea vs Tottenham, which kicks off at 8.15pm on Sky Sports Premier League.

After Rodri came back into the side for the FA Cup final, Manchester City have no pressing injury concerns for this match.
Jeremy Doku has been in fine form of late but, given the number of matches he has played, Guardiola could opt to rest the Belgian.
Rayan Cherki is expected to start after being named to the bench for Saturday’s final.

Bournemouth, meanwhile, will be without Julio Soler and Lewis Cook, both due to thigh injuries.
Ryan Christie will miss the match as he serves a red card suspension. Alex Jimenez remains suspended by the club for disciplinary reasons.

Bournemouth are finishing the season in imperious form. They come into this match unbeaten in 17, but will face their sternest test here since they beat Arsenal at the Emirates in early April.
If any team in the league has the form to rival that of the Cherries, though, it is Guardiola’s City. They have a penchant for finishing a campaign at pace, and with the added motivation of the weekend’s cup triumph behind them, they show no signs of slowing.
A domestic treble is the new objective for City. At the very least, they will push the title race to its final day.
Man City to win, 2-1.
The Cherries have beaten City only once. That match came in 2024, when one Antoine Semenyo scored the decisive goal.
