Bradley Barcola ‘agrees in principle’ with Liverpool after Iraola talks

Bradley Barcola has given Liverpool an agreement in principle after talks with head coach Andoni Iraola, and the clubs remain far apart. According to L'Équipe, negotiations between Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain have begun.

The 23-year-old has opted not to extend his PSG contract, which runs until June 2028. He has also spoken recently with several Liverpool executives as well as Iraola.

There is no contractual agreement between the former Lyon winger and Liverpool at this stage.

PSG are now open to a departure but remain firm on their financial demands. The gap between the clubs’ positions remains significant.

Barcola hopes the clubs can reach an agreement that would allow him to experience the Premier League. Whether his stance speeds up talks in the coming days is unclear.
