Bradley Barcola scored France’s second against Sweden in the World Cup round of 32. It was the winger’s second goal of the tournament.
Didier Deschamps started him ahead of Désiré Doué. As reported by L'Équipe.
Kylian Mbappé opened the scoring in the 45th minute before half-time.
Soon after the restart, in the 53rd minute, Michael Olise slid a pass into Barcola’s run, nutmegging Gustaf Lagerbielke. After a neat first touch, the 23-year-old PSG forward rifled into the right side-netting past Zetterström.
Olise’s pass was his fourth assist of the competition.
