Round four of the 2026 Brasileirão concluded on Thursday night as Santos defeated Vasco at Vila Belmiro, climbing to 13th on four points.
According to Diario Do Peixe, three fixtures were postponed due to Flamengo’s Recopa commitments and Botafogo and Bahia being in the Pré-Libertadores.
The top of the table is led by Palmeiras on 10 points, with São Paulo second also on 10 and Corinthians third on seven. Bahia, on seven with a game in hand, completes the top four.
Atlético-MG sit 17th on two points to open the relegation zone. Internacional and Cruzeiro are also on two, in 18th and 19th. Vasco are bottom with one.
The round produced 16 goals in seven matches, an average of 2.2 per game. Home sides won three times, there were three draws and one away win.
Results: Red Bull Bragantino 1-1 Athletico-PR, Remo 1-1 Internacional, Coritiba 0-1 São Paulo, Cruzeiro 1-1 Corinthians, Palmeiras 2-1 Fluminense, Grêmio 2-1 Atlético-MG, Santos 2-1 Vasco.
