Cole Palmer has been voted into the FIFPro Men’s World 11 for 2025, it’s just been announced. He’s one of just 3 Premier League players to make it.
The attacking midfielder has barely played since August thanks to a persistent groin injury, but his exploits at the Club World Cup and in the spring were enough to lock him in.
He takes his place in a pretty tasty looking midfield alongside Jude Bellingham, Pedri and Vitinha.
You can see the full XI in the image embedded here:

The FIFPro Men’s World XI
This is always a particularly interesting award as it’s voted for by the players and not just journalists or a faceless PR panel. That’s not to say players are immune to PR nonsense, but game recognise game, as they say.
As you’d expect, there are complains about pretty much every player in there, but that’s just football for you. Palmer played exceptionally well in the games that mattered, including a memorable Club World Cup final whre the eyes of the world (and his fellows pros) were on him, and that god the job done.
We’re all praying that when he returns to action sometimes in the next few weeks, that he can show a similar level to what we saw back in the USA when he was so utterly imperious.
Estevao Willian has been speaking a little to the media in his home country about his adaptation to the Premier League and the UK, and he mentioned one Chelsea teammate in particular for his contribution to that.
In the same interview with ESPN in Brazil, Estevao talked about the nickname he got back home and how he had dealt with it since. People won’t be mentioning it much longer.
