Breno Bidon has made a flying start to 2026, already matching his personal goal best for Corinthians. According to Meu Timao, the midfielder’s form has been a standout of the early season.

His first strike of the year came in the derby against São Paulo at Neo Química Arena. At 44 minutes of the second half, he took a Pedro Raul pass inside the box and guided it into Rafael’s right corner.

On Wednesday he netted again, the team’s only goal in a 2-1 defeat to Bahia in the Campeonato Brasileiro opener. Memphis Depay found Rodrigo Garro, the No 10 slipped Bidon through and he finished right-footed past Ronaldo.

Those two goals make him joint top scorer for the season alongside Yuri Alberto, who also has two. André Ramalho, Gustavo Henrique and André Luiz have one each.

In 2025 Bidon scored once, a 1-1 draw with Grêmio in round 12 of the league. In 2024 he also struck once, a 2-1 win over América-RN in the first leg of the Copa do Brasil third round.

With Bidon available, Dorival Júnior’s side now turn to their first final of the year. They face Flamengo at Mané Garrincha in Brasília on Sunday 1 February at 16:00 in the Supercopa do Brasil.
