Breno Bidon rescued Corinthians, the midfielder converting at 45 minutes of the second half from Pedro Raul's pass inside the São Paulo area.
According to Globo.com, André was among the few bright spots before the break, while Carrillo endured an afternoon to forget.
Early on, Matheus Bidu worried Rafael with a free-kick. Despite an early booking, André drove play and set up chances. On 12 minutes, Yuri Alberto headed over after Arboleda's mistake, then forced Rafael into a low save. Matheuzinho later squandered a fine chance after an André burst.
Kayke impressed with direct runs and, on 41 minutes, stung Rafael's palms, also drawing a booking for Marcos Antônio. Just before the interval, Hugo Souza kept out a Luciano header.
At the start of the second half, captain Gustavo Henrique drew a fine save with a header from a corner, then Corinthians' level dipped. Matheus Pereira debuted on 20 minutes, with Dieguinho also introduced, and Vitinho followed at 23, but the attack lacked punch. André faded after the break and went off on 36 minutes.
São Paulo went ahead when Carrillo allowed Danielzinho space to cross and Tapia headed in, with André Ramalho poorly positioned.
Pedro Raul arrived late and created the equaliser, slipping the ball for Bidon to level. Raniele made his first appearance of 2026, while Yuri Alberto was booked on his first start of the year. Coach Dorival Júnior saw a strong first half spoiled by missed chances and rotated with the schedule in mind.
