Brentford FC have confirmed their new academy scholarships for the 2025/26 season and as Lewis Bower reports, this includes two Liverpool academy players, who have now completed a move to the London based club from the Reds.
Goalkeeper Layton Nicholls and left-back Nathaniel Ogungbemi both join Brentford from Liverpool and they will be trying their luck at the Bees' academy.

Interestingly, this is not the first time in recent years that Brentford have signed academy players from Liverpool.
Centre-back Kerron Samuels was brought to Brentford back in 2023. Meanwhile, Ben Winterbottom, who is a goalkeeper, arrived at Brentford in 2021.
