Head coach Keith Andrews has provided an update on Aaron Hickey and Jordan Henderson ahead of Brentford’s Premier League game against Fulham on Saturday (12.30pm kick-off BST, live on TNT Sports).

Andrews revealed that Hickey will be available for the west London derby at Gtech Community Stadium, having been out with a hamstring injury since the Bees' 2-0 defeat to Brighton and Hove Albion on 21 February.

"Aaron Hickey [is available] from the last game, which is a bonus for us," said the Bees boss. "He's been missing for a number of weeks, so it will be nice to get him back involved. He was close last weekend, but he's had a good week's training."

On the potential return of Rico Henry (hamstring) and Vitaly Janelt (metatarsal), Andrews added: "Jordan [Henderson]'s probably back next, and then those other two boys.

"I'm not entirely sure [when Henderson will be back]; I don't particularly like putting a timescale on things because sometimes it's unrealistic. He's not too far away, maybe over the next couple of weeks.

"The other two just aren't ready right now, we'll see... we've got five or six weeks left of the season, and hopefully they can play a part.

"Dams [Mikkel Damsgaard] did well to actually play last week, he wasn't well at all, but he dug in and gave us 45 minutes. He'll come back in this week.

"Kaye [Furo] got a knock in training three days before the Everton game, he felt a slight groin strain. He missed that game and he won't be involved this week.

On Josh Dasilva, who has had a long-term knee ligament injury, Andrews commented: "Josh was with the group on Friday, and he's been building really well behind the scenes.

"As you can imagine, that's not an easy one for obvious reasons. He's been out for such a long time but he's been working really well. I don't want to put added pressure on him, but I'm really excited about getting him back involved because I value him hugely."

Fábio Carvalho and Antoni Milambo will miss the rest of the campaign due to ACL injuries and, on them, the Brentford head coach said: "Fábio and Antoni are having a little break, they've gone to Tampa.

"They've gone over there for a week, a change of scenery, a different training environment. They're doing some work with the Premier League, and our conditioning staff that have gone with them.

"They're making good progress for the timescales that they're on."
