Brentford trigger Peart-Harris’ contract extension | OneFootball

Brentford have exercised the option in Myles Peart-Harris’ contract to extend his stay at the club until the end of the 2025/26 campaign.

Peart-Harris is currently on loan at Championship side Swansea City, where he has scored three goals and provided three assists in 23 appearances.

The midfielder’s contract was due to expire on 30 June, but the club have decided to trigger the option to extend his deal until next summer.

After over a decade at Chelsea, Peart-Harris signed for Brentford on a four-year contract in 2021, before making his debut for the club in a 7-0 Carabao Cup win over Oldham Athletic two months later.

He made his first Premier League appearance as a late substitute in the 3-1 win over Luton Town in December 2023, before two further cameos against Brighton and Wolves.

The 22-year-old came on as a half-time substitute in the Bees’ 1-1 FA Cup draw with Wolves last January, and then started the replay at Molineux.

Prior to his time at Swansea, Peart-Harris had loans in League One with Forest Green Rovers in 2022/23 - where he registered six goals and four assists in 47 games - before a spell with Portsmouth, who he helped to promotion to the Championship at the end of last season.
