Bruno Henrique has rejoined Flamengo training and is closing in on a return, with the forward in contention to be named in the squad to face Bragantino on two April after the international window. According to Globo.com, he has worked with the group in each of the past two days.

Recovering from pubalgia, he is completing most drills with the squad, though his workload remains managed by the fitness staff. He is no longer under the care of the medical department.

The initial plan is for him to complete a full session with team-mates by the end of the FIFA break, likely early next week. He is expected to travel to Bragança Paulista next Wednesday for the Brasileirão fixture.

Bruno Henrique has not featured since the decisive Recopa Sudamericana match against Lanús on 26 February. The number 27 has missed six games in that spell, one under Filipe Luís and five with Leonardo Jardim.

Pubalgia typically causes pain around the pubis and groin, often linked to repetitive strain in footballers. Treatment is usually conservative, involving relative rest, anti-inflammatories, physiotherapy, strength and postural work, and a gradual return. Straightforward recoveries commonly take at least one month.

Alongside Arrascaeta, he is Flamengo’s most decorated player, with 17 trophies since 2019. In 2026 he has nine appearances, with two goals and two assists.
