Bruno Henrique plays down retirement talk as Flamengo contract enters final year | OneFootball

Bruno Henrique, 35, is in the final year of his Flamengo deal, yet retirement rumours have been dismissed by his camp. According to Coluna Do Fla, the forward is not considering ending his career at the close of this season.

With a contract running until December, the No 27 is focused on Flamengo’s 2026 objectives and will decide his next steps at the right time alongside his agents, family and the club.

In 2025, he had spoken of the possibility of retiring in 2026.

At the club since 2019, his market value is put at approximately 800 thousand euros, around R$ 4.9 million. No official proposals have been made for the forward so far.

From June he will be free to sign a pre-contract elsewhere, as he will be within the final six months of his current deal. Flamengo would need to renew to avoid a free departure.

Available for selection, he is in line for Flamengo’s meeting with Botafogo at 17:30, Brasília time, on Sunday 15 in the Campeonato Carioca quarter-finals at Estádio Nilton Santos, also known as Engenhão.
