After the international break, Arsenal are back in action on Tuesday. They host Fulham in the Premier League. The last time the two teams faced each other, it ended in a 1-1 draw in December of last year. In fact, the Gunners are winless against Marco Silva's side in the last three matches.
However, the return to fitness of Bukayo Saka will be welcome news for Mikel Arteta. But Ricardo Calafiori getting injured during his time with Italy will be a setback for him. The Gunners are second in the table, 12 points behind Liverpool. In their final match before the break, Arsenal secured a 1-0 victory over Chelsea at the Emirates Stadium.
The Spaniard might have lost his No. 1 spot to Unai Simón in the national team during last week's Nations League quarter-finals, but he remains Mikel Arteta's first choice and will start.
Timber missed Nations League fixtures for the Netherlands due to illness, but Mikel Arteta has confirmed he is fit again, and he should keep his place.
The center-back booked a place in the UEFA Nations League semis with his national team, France. He is one of the main players and should start once again.
Another regular in Arteta's team. Only Saliba and Raya have played more for them than the Brazilian, and he is a sure bet to start.
The 18-year-old had a dream couple of weeks. Ten days ago, he made his England debut after getting called up for the first time. He made it even more memorable by scoring the match's first goal. In the second, he also kept a clean sheet. With Calafiori injured, Lewis-Skelly is expected to start once again.
Arsenal’s captain provided the only goal as they won against their London rivals Chelsea last time. An important cog in Arsenal’s system, he should start.
Another Arsenal player who was on the scoresheet during the international break. Yet another player who is a regular in the team.
The midfielder had a great time during the international break as well. He assisted Harry Kane once in both matches. A top player for them.
Bukayo Saka is fit and ready to play again, but with a big match against Real Madrid coming next week, Arteta is unlikely to rush him back. Nwaneri has done well during Saka's absence and should return to the starting XI.
In Arsenal's last match, Merino was their match-winner as he scored the only goal. He was also on the scoresheet during the international break. With regular strikers out, Merino is expected to start.
The Belgian had an average game against Chelsea despite being presented with chances by Chelsea goalkeeper Robert Sánchez. Martinelli, who started on the right then, should return to his favorite position on Tuesday.
