Galatasaray have made an offer for Burnley's Lesley Ugochukwu, which is a loan move with an option to buy for €22m.
Burnley have a lot of work to do ahead of their Championship opener against West Ham at Turf Moor on August 16.
The immediate priority for the Clarets is to name a permanent successor to Scott Parker, with the ongoing managerial search becoming a huge source of frustration for fans, particularly as the players are already back for pre-season.
Then, the next head coach will have a big role in recruitment, with some huge decisions looming for Burnley, as they look to build another team that can win promotion to the Premier League.
Obviously, the drop in revenue that comes with relegation means Burnley will have to sell some players to help balance the books.
And, one player who is attracting interest is Lesley Ugochukwu, with the midfielder having joined the Clarets from Chelsea in a £25m deal last year.
It has been reported that Galatasaray have made an official bid for the Frenchman, which is a €2m loan fee, and the option to make it a permanent move for €22m.
Ugochukwu made 35 appearances for Burnley last season, scoring three goals, but, like most of his teammates, he struggled at times.

The chance to move to Istanbul and join the Turkish giants is obviously going to appeal to Ugochukwu, as they are a club that regularly win trophies, and they will be in the Champions League next season.
So, that would give Ugochukwu the chance to test himself against the best players on the planet, which he would want to do.
But, ultimately, even with relegation, Burnley are in a strong negotiating position, as the former France U21 international still has four years on his contract at Turf Moor, and it’s hard to see why they would accept this offer.
The bid from Galatasaray only guarantees €2m, and whilst there is an option, we don’t know if there are specific details on how it can be triggered.
If it’s simply an option, Burnley are best to wait and try to get guaranteed funds for Ugochukwu, who will be one of the most valuable players at the club.
You would expect there to be a market for the ex-Rennes man considering his age, the level he has played at, and his potential to improve, so Burnley must not get bullied into accepting an offer that doesn’t suit them.
That’s not to say they will stand in his way, but the Clarets, at the very least, should be looking to get their money back on the player, which would then give them plenty of room to make additions to the squad.
As you would expect, news of Galatasaray’s offer of a loan with an option didn’t go down well with the Burnley fans, with these supporters adamant it should be an easy decision to reject the bid.
Meanwhile, these Burnley fans were questioning the way the club is operating in the market given the offer that has come in for Ugochukwu.
