Burnley travel to the London Stadium today for a crucial six-pointer against 18th-placed West Ham United.
The Clarets currently sit just one place above their opponents. Therefore, a victory would provide a significant boost to their hopes for survival. Scott Parker’s side are looking to bounce back after league leaders Arsenal snapped their two-match winning streak last weekend.
The Clarets’ attack has been surprisingly clinical this season. In fact, despite having the fewest shots in the division, they boast the second-best shot conversion rate. However, they must overcome a poor away record against West Ham. Historically, they have won just two of their last 11 top-flight visits to the Hammers.
Scott Parker has been handed a boost in attack. Striker Lyle Foster has recovered from illness. Consequently, he is now available to reclaim his starting spot from Zian Flemming. Unfortunately, the manager’s defensive problems continue.
Specifically, key trio Jordan Beyer, Zeki Amdouni, and Connor Roberts are all still sidelined with injuries. In their absence, one of the team’s key creative threats will be full-back Quilindschy Hartman. Impressively, he has assisted four goals in his last three away games alone.
Possible Burnley starting XI: Dúbravka; Walker, Tuanzebe, Estève, Hartman; Ugochukwu, Florentino, Cullen; Tchaouna, Foster, Anthony
The Premier League fixture takes place at the London Stadium today, Saturday, 8 November 2025. Kick-off is scheduled for 3:00 pm GMT.
This match will not air live in the UK due to the 3:00 pm GMT Saturday blackout.
