Camberos winner sees Club América top Pachuca | OneFootball

MEXICO CITY – The 2025/26 Concacaf W Champions Cup continued with Club América earning a 1-nil win over CF Pachuca in Group A on Thursday at Estadio Ciudad de los Deportes in Mexico City, Mexico.

The two top Liga MX Femenil sides met in a rematch of the Clausura 2025 Final. This time it was Club América who prevailed and took sole ownership of first place in the group.

The lone goal of the evening was on behalf of the hosts, thanks to Scarlett Camberos, who was ready in the penalty area to capitalize on a loose ball and strike a right-footed shot in the 19’.

América kept control of the match, trying to double its lead on many occasions. Camberos nearly collected her brace in the 90’, but the ball went wide of the post.

The next challenge for Club América will be against Orlando Pride, the second placed team in Group A, on September 30 in Mexico City.

Pachuca will host LD Alajuelense on October 1 in a meeting of third and fourth place in the group.
