With just days to go before the 2025 AFCON in Morocco, the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon are once again at the heart of a new twist. Sacked by Fecafoot, Marc Brys continues to receive support from the ministry and has decided to announce his own squad for the continental tournament.

The new coach appointed by Samuel Eto'o's Fecafoot, David Pagou, had already unveiled his official list, notably omitting several key players such as André Onana and Vincent Aboubakar. Recently, the coach made an unexpected move. Following the withdrawal of Brice Ambina (Valerenga) from the midfield, Pagou has called up Maël Kamdem (25), a midfielder who plays in Brazil's sixth division with Sinop Futebol Clube. A truly surprising decision.
