The Arsenal transfer target is expected to be part of a deep run with England at this summer’s tournament
Arsenal have already been told that the 2026 World Cup will not have too much of an impact on their pursuit of Morgan Rogers.
The Aston Villa attacking midfielder has been named by Thomas Tuchel in the England squad for this summer’s tournament in North America, and is expected to play a key role.
Should the Three Lions reach the final - or the third-place play-off match - then Rogers will not sign off from international duty until Saturday, July 18 at the earliest.
However, the Gunners will not have to wait until then to complete a potential deal for the 23-year-old - who is expected to cost in the region of £100million - as Tuchel has revealed England players will be allowed to leave camp for transfer related business.
That said, Tuchel has laid out the exact conditions for any transfer deals to be sorted during the World Cup as, ideally, he does not want any distractions ahead of a match.
"It's about common sense,” Tuchel said ahead of the first pre-tournament friendly against New Zealand.
“I would not like it the day before a match, or on a matchday, that's the policy. Maybe two days before too, but let's see.
"But everything else if it's done privately, efficiently and quietly then we are always happy to help.
"It helps to have clarity around any player, the best thing we can have is that so if anyone has a chance to complete a change of club we will not stand in their way.

"But it has to align, of course, with our schedule and our goals which is to be focused and prepared for matches.
"No player has approached me yet but our doctor is ready to do any medicals!"
