Castello Lukeba targeted by English clubs

Premier League heavyweights Liverpool, Chelsea, and Manchester United are closely monitoring Castello Lukeba, the RB Leipzig centre-back, according to the latest rumours.

The 22-year-old Frenchman joined Leipzig in 2023 from Olympique Lyonnais. Since his arrival, he has played 79 official matches and scored once, establishing himself as a key figure in the German side's defence.

Liverpool have reportedly been interested in him since last summer, while Chelsea and Manchester United are also in the mix. Leipzig has a €90 million release clause, but the club could be willing to negotiate a transfer for around €60 million.

Lukeba is also attracting interest from clubs like Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, and Tottenham, making him one of the most sought-after young defenders in Europe. His future could take a dramatic turn as early as this winter if a deal is reached.
