Castellón step up pre-season as Rodrigo Rego trains and season-ticket renewals pass 10,000 | OneFootball

CD Castellón have intensified preparations for 26/27, with a settled project continuing to grow under Haralabos Voulgaris. The week began with a training block and the first session for new signing Rodrigo Rego, while the season-ticket drive continues at pace.

The albinegro side opened pre-season with a 2-0 friendly win over Sabadell, then resumed work at La Coma focusing on fitness and tactics ahead of the league opener against Real Sociedad B on 14 August. According to El Periódico Mediterráneo, the group continued to build load under the coaching staff.

Rego, a right winger who operates on the opposite flank, completed his first full session with the squad and started his integration into team dynamics.

He arrives to bolster a squad undergoing significant renewal after the departures of Calatrava, Cipenga and Gerenebarrema. The club have made numerous summer additions, and the winger is a young player with notable potential and encouraging qualities. He faces strong competition in a crowded position.

Off the pitch, Castellón's season-ticket drive has surpassed 10,000 renewals, underlining the loyalty of the albinegro support. The club anticipates another lively atmosphere at SkyFi Castalia next season.

The renewal window closes this Sunday, then a re-seating period runs from 28 July to 2 August. New memberships will be processed from 4 to 9 August.
