Tottenham have received positive injury news as both Cathinka Tandberg and Olga Ahtinen could both make their returns against Liverpool.
Both Cathinka Tandberg and Olga Ahtinen have both been out of action since the November international break with respective injury issues.
The pair last featured for Tottenham during a 1-0 victory over Bristol City in the Women’s League Cup.
Both recently returned to training and Ho revealed the pair could feature against Liverpool on Sunday.
He said during his pre-match press conference: “It’s as we were last game [against Leicester City], apart from that Cathinka and Olga come back in contention, so we will see how they get through today and tomorrow, and then make a decision, depends how they get through that, on whether they travel, but they’re back in contention.”
Forward Tandberg and midfielder Ahtinen return to a Tottenham side with greater competition for places.
Tottenham have added forwards Signe Gaupset and Matilda Nilden to the squad. Spurs have also signed midfielder Julie Blakstad, as well as Maika Hamano, who joined on loan from Chelsea.
Tandberg is a lifelong Tottenham fan and recently described Harry Kane as her hero growing up.
Despite the positive injury news, there are still a number of long-term injuries in Tottenham’s squad.
Jess Naz, Luana Buhler, Maite Oroz and Ella Morris remain sidelined. However, Morris, who recently signed a new contract, is getting closer to first-team training after her ACL injury.
Ho added: “Ella is doing a lot more now and getting closer to team training – and then the longer-term absentees from that. Charli (Grant) is back doing some running now so she’s getting closer and closer.”
Tottenham will be expected to beat a Liverpool side that is winless in the WSL.
However, speaking about Liverpool’s performances, Ho believes their results don’t match the level of their displays.
He said: “They’ve just come off the back of a positive result against London City where they perform really well and I don’t think their performances probably have been where maybe the table shows, if I’m honest.
“They’re in good control of games, they’re possessing the ball well, they’re very offensive-minded and maybe they just lack that cutting edge around the attacking third but they’re still a really good team and we need to be at our best if we’re going to take anything from the game.”
